A series that was canceled earlier this year only to get a reprieve and be given another season now has a return date for that season. The series is "Drop Dead Diva," which is being brought back by Lifetime, reports EW.com’s Inside TV.

The show will return June 23, with 13 episodes planned for its fifth season. The season will start with an episode aptly called "Back From the Dead."

The storyline will pick up from last season’s cliff hanger, when Jane searches for her missing fiance, who disappeared after seeing her kiss another man, the story says.

The dramedy is about a shallow model whose soul ends up inhabiting the body of a brilliant plus-sized attorney. Lifetime canceled “Diva” on Jan. 15, but then inked a deal with the show’s producer, Sony Pictures TV, and announced six weeks after the cancellation that the show would be back for season five.
