[Updated on 5-1-13 at 1:21 pm. PT. Slate has published the following correction to its story, and we have made the appropriate correction to our item based on the Slate story. "Correction, May 1, 1:07 p.m.: This post previously stated that these titles would become exclusively available on Warner Archive Instant. A spokesperson for Warner Bros. tells Slate that the films being removed from Netflix’s streaming service do not belong to Warner Bros."

For serious movie fans, today is "streamageddon" on Netflix, the day when hundreds of titles will disappear from the streaming service, reports Slate.

Writer Sam Adams reports on Slate: "Complicating matters further, Netflix is currently testing a variety of new interfaces, rolling out variations on its iconic queue to small groups of users. Instead of a customizable queue, some — like me — now see a ‘list’ which can only be sorted according to a handful of options."

The piece notes that most customers appear to "loathe" the new options.

Some of the movies that are disappearing include Woody Allen’s "Stardust Memories," the heist thriller "Odds Against Tomorrow" and the James Bond film "Goldfinger," according to Slate.
