The talk show "Dr. Oz" has been renewed by Sony Pictures Television in 16 markets where it airs on Hearst-owned stations, reports B&C.
The news comes after the studio renewed the show on Fox-owned stations in 13 markets through the 2016-17 season, the piece notes.
The Hearst stations include WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh and WBAL-TV in Baltimore, the piece notes. With the Fox renewal, the show is now cleared in 55% of the country through the 2016-17 season. The show first aired in September 2009.
