‘Game of Thrones’ Star Joins USA’s ‘Suits’

One of the stars of HBO’s "Game of Thrones’ is joining USA Network’s legal dramedy "Suits.” EW.com’s Inside TV reports that Michelle Fairley, who starred as Catelyn Stark on "Thrones,’ will play a recurring role during the third season of "Suits."

For those who haven’t read about or watched the most recent episode of "Thrones," don’t read on if you don’t want to know what happened on the show (spoiler alert). In vague terms, Fairley was free to find another role after a plot twist in Sunday’s episode, called "The Rains of Castamere."

As previously reported, some media outlets have created compilations of fans’ reactions to the shocking episode.

On "Suits," Fairley will play British entrepreneur Ava Hessington, who is faced with a lawsuit that could risk her family’s business. She will make her debut July 16.

Another "Game of Thrones" actor will appear on the show next season as well. Conleth Hill, who plays Varys, will reprise a guest-starring role.

  1. Hmmm…
I wonder if this means that she’s not coming back as the undead Kaitlin Stark next season?
