Girls Gone Wild Founder Threatens Legal Action Over Stolen Sex Tape

Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis is threatening to sue over a sex tape that was taken from his girlfriend’s stolen iPad, reports TMZ.com.

The footage, which features Francis and his girlfriend Abbey Wilson, was shot several weeks ago, the story says. Wilson was the winner of the Girls Gone Wild “Search for the Hottest Girl in America” contest in 2012, the report notes.

“The footage contains material from several sexual liaisons … and it’s currently being shopped to various media outlets,” the story reports. “Francis tells TMZ … he has nothing to do with the tape’s release — and, ironically, he’s trying desperately to stop it from going public by threatening the person who has it.”

Wilson’s iPad was recently stolen from her bag at the Los Angeles International Airport.

David Houston, an attorney for Francis, said: "It is not only unfortunate, but it is a crime. As such, this office will take all necessary steps to determine who in fact has done this and who is attempting to distribute the video.”

  1. Karma anyone?

  2. Generally huge ego means you never want to expose “little Joe”
