Ken Marino of MTV’s "The State" and the Starz comedy "Party Down" is joining an HBO series. Deadline.com reports that the actor has been cast in the fourth and final season of the comedy "Eastbound & Down."
His character is Guy Young, a middle-aged athlete who’s still partying every weekend, and who will appear in all eight episodes of the upcoming season. The show stars Danny McBride as a self-destructive baseball player, who at the end of the third season made it back to the majors but then faked his own death.
The fourth season will start the action several years later.
Marino also appears in the Adult Swim comedy "Childrens Hospital."
