NBC Will Stagger Fall Premieres — Here Are the Dates

NBC has released its fall schedule, with the plan being to stagger premieres starting with the late-September premiere week and ending several weeks later, reports EW.com’s Inside TV.

James Spader’s "The Blacklist" and the singing competition "The Voice" will kick off the 2013-14 television season, with "Dracula" airing as the latest-debuting new show on the network. "Dracula," starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, will premiere just before Halloween, on Oct. 25.

Below is the schedule, with new shows in capital letters:

“The Voice”: Monday, Sept. 23, 8 p.m. ET

“THE BLACKLIST”: Monday, Sept. 23, 10 p.m. ET

“Chicago Fire”: Tuesday, Sept. 24, 10 p.m. ET

“Revolution”: Wednesday, Sept. 25, 8 p.m. ET (new day and time)

“Law & Order: SVU”: Wednesday, Sept. 25, 10 p.m. ET

“Parks and Recreation”: Thursday, Sept. 26, 8 p.m. ET (new time)

“THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW”: Thursday, Sept. 26, 9 p.m. ET (premiere/preview)

“THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW”: Thursday, Sept. 26, 9:30 p.m. ET (time period premiere)

“Parenthood”: Thursday, Sept. 26, 9 p.m. ET

“Dateline”: Friday, Sept. 27, 8 p.m. ET

“IRONSIDE”: Wednesday, Oct. 2, 10 p.m. ET

  1. And NBC wonders why it’s consistantly bringing up the rear. Having premier dates for shows as far as a month later than the other networks gives people a chance to become involved/invested with shows on those other networks, and not bother to watch something new when it arrives.

  2. I see as always NBC is setting it self up to fail!
