Actor Paul Jenkins Dies — You May Remember Him From ‘M*A*S*H,’ ‘Dynasty,’ ‘The Waltons’ and Many Other Shows

Actor Paul Jenkins, who made a string of TV appearances from the 1970s into the 2000s, has died. Contactmusic.com reports that Jenkins died Monday at 74 after a brief illness.

Along with a few appearances in feature films including "Chinatown" in 1974 and "Network" in 1976, Jenkins carved out a prolific career in television. His TV appearances over the years included "M*A*S*H," "Columbo," "Lou Grant," "Dynasty," "Kojak," "The Partridge Family," "The Rockford Files" and "Starsky and Hutch," with later appearances on "Ally McBeal," "The West Wing" and "Cold Case," among other shows.

He may be best remembered as Professor Parks on "The Waltons," a role he played from 1974-1976.
