An actress who many observers felt was one of the top snubs when the Emmy nominations were announced last month has landed a new gig.

"Orphan Black" star Tatiana Maslany, who won fans for her portrayal of several clones on the BBC show, has been cast in a two-episode arc on NBC’s "Parks and Recreation," The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports.

The Canadian actress will play a love interest for Aziz Ansari, who plays Tom Haverford. While details about her character haven’t been released, she will appear in the fifth and sixth episodes of the comedy, which will air its sixth-season premiere Sept. 26.

Earlier this year, Maslany was named the winner of the Critics’ Choice Television Award for best actress in a drama series for "Orphan Black," which airs in the U.S. on BBC America.

  1. Uh. Tatiana also won the acting achievement award from the Television Critics Association. Everyone in the business knows that’s more prestigious.
