Actor Freddie Prinze Jr. has been added to a Lifetime series. EW.com’s Inside TV reports that Prinze, known for his work in "I Know What You Did Last Summer," "She’s All That" and other feature films, joins the series "Witches of East End."
Prinze is initially on the show as a guest star, although the part could turn into a longer-term role, the report notes.
The spot will reunite him with former "Freddie" co-star Madchen Amick, who played the sister-in-law of his character in the 2005-2006 comedy.
In "Witches of East End," Prinze will portray an entomologist who falls for Wendy Beauchamp, played by Amick, although he soon wonders whether she’s more interested in his bugs. He will appear in the fourth episode, with the possibility of appearing in additional episodes, the story says.
