One of the original co-hosts of the ABC daytime talk staple "The View" is leaving the show, and The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that we now know when her departure will take place. Joy Behar has booked her final episode for Friday, Aug. 9, the story reports.

Behar’s departure comes one month after co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck left for Fox News.

Behar’s farewell episode will be hosted by Mario Cantone, and will look back at Behar’s highlights through the years, including her walk-off during Bill O’Reilly’s appearance and interviewing Sen. John McCain, the story says. The special episode is titled "This Was Your Life on The View Joy Behar."

With Behar’s departure, Barbara Walters is the sole original co-host who remains with "The View." The show’s other co-hosts include Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.

The show recently announced that Jenny McCarthy will join the lineup in September.
