An actor from the hit AMC zombie drama "The Walking Dead," has been cast by the cable network in a new drama project. Deadline.com reports that David Morrissey, who plays the Governor on the zombie show, has been cast as the lead in the pilot "Line of Sight," about a National Transportation Safety Board investigator who is a survivor of a mysterious plane crash.

Fans of "The Walking Dead" may be reassured to learn that Morrissey will be able to work on both projects, given that they share Atlanta as their location.

"We are huge fans of David Morrissey and are glad he’ll be doing double duty for AMC viewers through his work on ‘The Walking Dead’ and our pilot for ‘Line Of Sight,’ both of which are produced in Atlanta,” the network said in a statement.

But Deadline adds: "However, as it is with all characters on the zombie drama with extraordinarily high body count, the Governor’s future beyond Season 4 is uncertain, and Morrissey’s casting as the lead of another AMC show will certainly fuel further speculation that the Governor may be facing his demise."
