Les Moonves commented on the 32-day CBS/Time Warner Cable blackout, saying the scuffle between the two companies did no damage to CBS, Deadline.com reports.

According to the story, the company chief spoke at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Media, Communications and Entertainment Conference, telling investors, “You will see at our third quarter earnings that there was no harm done to CBS Corporation.”

Moonves added: “It didn’t hurt us one iota financially. … August is our slowest time in prime time." Commenting on the network’s national advertisers, he noted: "Everybody hung in there.”

Moonves did have a few choice words for Time Warner, the story notes. “These are the guys who show up six hours late for an installation," he said.
