Forbes magazine has come out with its list of the highest-paid TV actresses of 2013, and the actress at No. 1 on the list is "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara. This is Vergara’s second consecutive year at the top of the list.

Vergara’s earnings over the past year reached $30 million, making her by far the top-paid actress on prime time, the story notes. She has been helped by deals from companies eager to tap into the Hispanic market, and has a high-profile product line at Kmart, the piece notes.

Forbes reports: "Vergara’s endorsement deals speak to the same set of consumers — Diet Pepsi, Covergirl, Rooms to Go and thyroid medicine Synthoid signed contracts this year in addition to Spanish-language commercials for laundry detergent, Comcast and State Farm insurance — deals that establish the star [as] one of the most in-demand spokespeople as marketers hope to capture her high-wattage crossover appeal."

Vergara’s earnings are almost triple those of the next actresses on the list. Tied at No. 2 are Kaley Cuoco of "The Big Bang Theory" and "Law & Order: SVU" veteran Mariska Hargitay, both with earnings of $11 million.

The Forbes rankings are based on earnings from June 2012 to June 2013.

Here’s the top 10:

2. (tie) Kaley Cuoco, $11 million
2. (tie) Mariska Hargitay, $11 million
