Updated headline and story at 10:25 a.m. PT on Tuesday, Sept, 3, 2013 to reflect that "Fox News Watch" is being replaced with a new show, also about media criticism.

The Fox News Channel  will be replacing its long-running show about media criticism with a new one on the same subject. TVNewser.com reports that "Fox News Watch" will be replaced by a new show hosted by former CNN host Howard Kurtz, who was recently hired by Fox News. Kurtz is a well-known pundit on the subject of media.

Jon Scott hosted the last episode of "Fox News Watch" over the weekend, thanking the show’s previous hosts, its staff and guests. He had hosted the program for the past six years, the piece notes.

The new show will be called "MediaBuzz."

  1. Howard Kurtz is flawed! He was fired by CNN for his egregious lazy journalism. Now Fox has hired CNN’s rejects. Par for Fox!

  2. The entire concept is flawed when they tend to “overlook” their own screw ups (unless it is “funny) and out right deceptions (which are constant.
