Jessica Lange’s character on FX’s "American Horror Story" will have a love interest during the show’s third season, with an actor from the Starz drama series "Magic City" joining "American Horror Story: Coven." The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that Danny Huston will join the cast of “Coven” opposite Lange.
“American Horror Story” showrunner Ryan Murphy tweeted Sunday to announce the latest casting, THR reports.
“Coven,” which examines the secret history of witchcraft in America, stars Lange as a witch, along with Kathy Bates playing historical figure “Madame LaLurie, a Louisiana-born socialite and serial killer who kept slaves bound in her home,” and Angela Bassett as voodoo expert and cult leader Marie Laveau.
Huston, who is the half-brother of actress Anjelica Huston and the son of director John Huston, played Ben "The Butcher" Diamond on "Magic City," which wrapped last month after a two-season run. He will play a love interest for Lange’s Fiona on "Coven."
