Kanye West is demanding an apology and has gone on a Twitter tirade against a late-night host after apparently becoming angered over a skit, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The target of West’s anger is Jimmy Kimmel.
"Did anyone else get a very angry phone call from Kanye West about an hour and a half ago? Just me? OK. I didn’t know if he was mad at all of us," Kimmel said in his opening monologue Thursday.
West had called Kimmel earlier in the day, saying he was angry over a skit in which Kimmel’s show hired two child actors to re-enact a BBC interview. "We just had the kid say the stuff Kanye said. And apparently this upset him," Kimmel said.
According to Kimmel, West gave him two choices, with the first being a public apology.
"And that was really the only choice — the other choice he gave was ‘my life … your life is going to be much better if I apologize,’ and then he started tweeting today," Kimmel said. "And I don’t even know if I’ve seen some of these because they’re happening as we speak."
West has been tweeting angrily at Kimmel, writing insults such as, "JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD PUSSY IN YOUR LIFE…"
Kimmel joked, "Finally, I’m in a rap feud."
