NBC has cast the host for its new family trivia series "Wall of Fame." The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that the network gave the job to "Guys With Kids" star Anthony Anderson.
The show will feature eight hourlong episodes, with families seeking to answer trivia questions while guessing whether celebrity contestants answered correctly, the story says. Taping will start at the end of September.
"Our celebrities will add an extra element of surprise, as they too will have their knowledge tested — providing a high potential for many unpredictable and raucous answers," said NBC president of alternative and late-night programming Paul Telegdy.
The celebrity participants haven’t been named yet.
Anderson starred along with Jesse Bradford and Tempestt Bledsoe during the 2012-13 season on the NBC comedy series "Guys With Kids," which was canceled after a 17-episode run.
