At last we have the answer to the burning question, "Whatever happened to Tony Soprano’s track suit" … and as it turns out, it’s up for sale.

Clothing worn by the late actor James Gandolfini is being auctioned off today, with aficionados of the HBO drama "The Sopranos" getting a chance to buy some of his wardrobe from the hit show, reports the New York Post.

Tony Soprano’s black and white Fila track suit, which the character wore in season 6, was expected to fetch at least $1,500, while a white bathrobe the character wore in the fifth season had a minimum bid of $1,500.

The articles of clothing came to auction from a private collector who bought the items from Gandolfini in 2012, the story says, citing Pete Siegel, co-founder of New York-based online auction house GottaHaveIt.com.

“It wouldn’t be the same if he had died, let’s say, 20 years ago. People still remember him and remember vividly," Siegel said.

Gandolfini died in June of cardiac arrest while visiting Rome, as previously reported.
