A new syndicated game show from FremantleMedia North America and Debmar-Mercury will be hosted by a well-known late-night talk show personality, reports The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed.
The star of CBS’s "The Late Late Show," Craig Ferguson, will host "Celebrity Name Game," which is slated for a fall 2014 debut.
The show is based on he board game "Identity Crisis." Celebrities will work with contestants to identify names of notable people, ranging from fields such as politics to pop culture.
The project is developed by Courteney Cox and David Arquette’s Coquette Productions. Scott St. John of "Deal or No Deal" has been tapped to serve as showrunner.
The show is the latest celebrity-focused game show, with NBC recently ordering a second season of "Hollywood Game Night," the story adds.
