MTV is raising its bet on a scripted series, bringing the show back for another season and adding a complementary talk show. The Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker reports that the channel is ordering a fourth season of "Teen Wolf" and is creating the show "Wolf Watch" as a companion for the series.

The move takes a page from AMC with its post-shows such as "Talking Dead," a companion to its hit zombie show "The Walking Dead."

"Wolf Watch" will air after each episode of "Teen Wolf," and will be hosted by Jill Wagner, who plays Kate Argent in the series. "Teen Wolf" was renewed with a 12-episode order, and will return in 2014.

"That the network is beefing up the show’s presence is hardly one to howl over. The first half of the third season averaged 2.8 million total viewers and a 2.5 among the 12-34 demo — making it the highest-rated and most-watched season to date, according to the network," the story adds.
