The Halloween costume that prognosticators are pointing to as the most likely to be No. 1 this year is an obvious choice: Miley Cyrus — probably the MTV Video Music Awards version, complete with the "infamous foam finger" accessory, rather than the harder-to-pull-off version of Miley best described as "naked and riding a wrecking ball."
E! Online reports that replicas of that foam finger are "already flying off shelves," adding: "And you thought you had an original idea!"
The report notes: "There are currently two vendors on Amazon that are selling copies of the foam finger, which Miley used to make raunchy gestures while grinding up against Robin Thicke during the show, but the red-nailed replicas are reportedly selling out quickly, indicating Miley Cyrus just may be one of the most popular Halloween costumes this year."
What about the rest of Cyrus’ twerk-ready gear? "T-shirts that bear an image of the 20-year-old pop star’s twerking teddy bear leotard are also available on the site, although it’s not quite as easy to get your hands on a pair of the flesh-colored latex bra and panties she stripped down to later in the show," E! reports.
The piece notes that both foam fingers are listed for under $15, with the T-shirts selling for under $23.
