A co-creator of the freshman Fox series "Sleepy Hollow" has signed a two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox TV. Deadline.com reports that Len Wiseman signed with 20th, the studio behind the show.
The deal comes soon after Fox’s second-season pickup of the supernatural drama. Wiseman will continue as an executive producer on the show, while also working on new projects through Sketch Films, his production company.
Wiseman’s direction is credited with propelling the pilot to the list of front runners in the last development season, the story notes.
"Len brilliantly directed and produced the ‘Sleepy Hollow’ pilot and truly helped define the series,” said 20th TV Chairman Gary Newman. “We knew the minute he delivered the first cut that this was a gifted artist we wanted to be in business with long term."
Wiseman previously directed the pilot for CBS’s reboot of "Hawaii Five-0," which is now in its fourth season.
