USA Network Renews Series

USA Network has given a renewal to one of its hit series.

The show is the spy drama "Covert Affairs."

The series has been renewed for a fifth season, reports TheWrap, noting that the order is for 16 episodes..

The fourth season, which will air its remaining episodes starting on Oct. 17, has averaged about 4 million total viewers so far, putting it among the 10 most-watched scripted cable shows this season, the story says.

“With its intricate storytelling, diverse characters and authentic locations, the series continues to be a cornerstone in our line-up of USA’s original signature dramas," USA Network president Chris McCumber said.
