Wealthy young adults have a favorite broadcast network. The Los Angeles Times’ Company Town reports that the top network in the demo is the one airing "Modern Family," ABC.

ABC has a 3.41 rating among people in the 18-49 demographic with annual household incomes of $100,000 or more, the story says.

NBC is in second place, with a 3.05 rating, followed by CBS (2.98) and Fox (2.63). A ratings point represents 354,450 viewers, the story says.

ABC is also on top when it comes to 18- to 49-year-olds with household income of $150,000 or more. That’s helped by "Modern Family," which is the most popular show with young, wealthy people.

CBS’s "The Big Bang Theory" is in second place, the story says. Among the new fall shows, ABC’s "Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is the leader, followed by NBC’s "The Blacklist."
