The discredited report on the terrorist attacks in Benghazi is under review by "60 Minutes," reports Bill Carter in The New York Times.
"The moment we confirmed there was an issue in our story, we began a journalistic review that is ongoing," the show said in a statement.
Lara Logan, the correspondent who worked on the report, gave a short apology on-air during Sunday’s episode, although she didn’t mention an internal review, the story says.
"In that appearance at the end of Sunday’s show, Ms. Logan said that Dylan Davies, one of the main sources for the Benghazi report, had misled the program’s staff. ‘It was a mistake to include him in our report. For that, we are very sorry,’ Ms. Logan said," Carter writes.
