Two brothers who are well-known actors are joining forces on a new TV project about their family business — but it’s not the entertainment business, it’s a hamburger stand.

A&E is rolling out plans for "Wahlburgers," a reality show that will include actor brothers Donnie and Mark Wahlberg in the cast, the New York Daily News reports. The show is set to premiere Jan. 22.

"The show, which was announced back in January, has been filming all year at Wahlburgers, the family’s burger restaurant in Hingham, Mass.," the story reports. "Paul Wahlberg, older brother of the more famous Donnie and Mark, is executive chef at the restaurant and will probably be the most prominent family member in the show."

Besides appearing on the docu-series, Donnie and Mark Wahlberg will also produce. They’re also keeping busy with other projects.

"Donnie is busy with ‘Blue Bloods’ and other work, while Mark does a lot of film and TV production," the report notes. "Donnie is also producing another reality show, ‘Don’t Rock the Boat,’ whose first episode on the TV Guide Network will feature his old boy band, New Kids on the Block, taking a week-long cruise with their fans."

The focus of "Wahlburgers" will be on family drama and on revealing what goes on behind the scenes of the restaurant, the report notes.

  1. Hmm. Interesting. Here in Rochester, NY, we’ve had a homegrown family-owned burger chain called Tom Wahl’s for decades. Their specialty: the Wahlburger©. Legal action? We shall see …
