Fox has a comedy in development that will star and be produced by a former "Saturday Night Live" cast member. TheWrap.com reports that the untitled single-camera project comes from Molly Shannon.
Shannon will play Fiona, a woman at the top of her career, but whose home life includes clashes with her stay-at-home pregnant daughter. Shannon will reunite with Bruce McCulloch, a former "SNL" writer who also directed Shannon’s 1999 film "Superstar," based on her popular "SNL" character Mary Katherine Gallagher.
McCulloch is set to write and work as showrunner on the project, from 3 Arts Entertainment in association with Twentieth Century Fox TV. David Miner is also on board as an executive producer.
