Fox has given an early pilot order to a comedy from one of the stars of CBS’s hit sitcom "The Big Bang Theory." Deadline.com reports that the project comes from "Bang" star Johnny Galecki along with writer Ricky Blitt and producer Stephen McPherson.

"Here’s Your Damn Family" has a cast-contingent order, and marks Galecki’s first pilot order as a producer, the story says.

"The comedy centers on a stunted, set-in-his-ways thirtysomething man living with his mom who finds his perfectly organized world upended when his mother/roommate gets married, and her new husband plus his three teenage children move in. Blitt, Galecki and McPherson executive produce," the piece notes.

Blitt and Galecki have been friends since working on the 2002 Fox pilot "Becoming Glen," on which Galecki played the title character and Blitt wrote, the piece notes.
