NBC coasted to a comfortable ratings win Monday night, based on Nielsen overnights for the key 18-49 demo, as CBS’s "Mom" and "Hostages" and ABC’s "Dancing with the Stars" hit series lows.

TVbytheNumbers.com reports that ABC’s two-hour "Dancing with the Stars" sank to a series low for a Monday with a 1.7 average in 18-49, losing 15% from a week ago. ABC’s "Castle" also had a rough night, losing 14% to equal its season low, a 1.9.

"2 Broke Girls" bucked the downtrend, rising 4% to a 2.7, while "Mike & Molly" was off 15% from last week’s season premiere, settling for a 2.2.

CBS’s "Hostages" equaled last week’s number in 18-49, a series-low 1.1.

NBC had the top show on broadcast, its two-hour "The Voice," which delivered a 3.8 in viewers 18-49, rising 6% from the show’s season low for a Monday, last week’s 3.6 average. "The Blacklist" ticked up 3% to a 3.0 to win the 10 p.m. hour.

Fox’s lineup matched last week’s numbers — a 2.5 for "Sleepy Hollow" in adults 18-49, and a 2.0 for "Bones."

For prime time overall, NBC won the 18-49 demo with a 3.5 average, followed by Fox (2.3 average), CBS (2.0), ABC (1.8) and Univision (1.4). ABC finished with a slight lead in total viewers with 11.7 million, ahead of NBC (11.5 million), Fox (7.2 million), CBS (6.8 million) and Univision (3.5 million).

  1. If people get tired of “The Voice”, NBC is going to be in serious trouble. Don’t they have the show on 7 days a week? lol

  2. The Voice? Is that a new one? I must have missed that it. lol
