Sarah Palin Backs Out of ‘Today’ Appearance Over MSNBC Host’s Comments

Nov 21, 2013  •  Post A Comment

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has canceled an interview on NBC’s “Today,” following offensive remarks about her and an apology by MSNBC host Martin Bashir, reports TheWrap.com.

“Today” co-host Matt Lauer was slated to visit Palin’s Alaska home for a holiday-themed interview. NBC News and Palin didn’t return requests for comment, the story says.

Palin is “mighty steamed” at MSNBC and Bashir over his remarks, according to Howard Kurtz at Fox News.

As previously reported, Bashir implied in a commentary that Palin deserved to have someone "shit" in her mouth, and later apologized to her, her family, supporters and “anyone who may have heard what I said.”

  1. Thanks for cancelling Sarah. Now please do so on all channels for the next 50-60 years.

  2. How would you like it if a national television personality said you, “deserved to have someone “shit” in your mouth”?

  3. Usually the shit only comes out of her mouth……….

  4. G is right. If you only have sh8t for brains, if you open your mouth enough, it spills out.

  5. Seems as though most of the posters here thus far suffer from what they are accusing others as having. Too bad they told lauer about the cancellation. He could have been used for bear bait. Then again, bears don’t eat shit so there ya go.
