Actor Zac Efron has had to cancel promotional appearances after having his mouth wired shut. E! News reports that the move came after Efron, who starred in Disney’s "High School Musical," broke his jaw over the weekend in a fall at his home.
Efron reportedly slipped in a puddle of water.
"He not only broke his jaw when he fell, but he also suffered a gash that required stitches," the story reports. He is expected to fully recover.
"In the meantime, upcoming plans to promote his new comedy ‘That Awkward Moment’ have been put on hold. Also starring Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan, the movie follows a group of young guys who vow to stay single. It’s set for release in January," the report notes.
Efron also has another movie, "Neighbors," set for release next year.
