Disney Channel has picked up another season of a comedy series. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that the channel ordered a third season to the family comedy “Dog with a Blog,” with production slated to start in April.

The show focuses on a talking dog named Stan who also maintains a blog. Voiced by Stephen Full, the dog helps his owners cope with life’s challenges.

The comedy was a top five series among kids 6-11 last year, the piece notes.

Adam Bonnett, executive vice president original programming at Disney Channel, said of the show: “Its relatable characters and unique approach to storytelling has made ‘Dog With a Blog’ a show the whole family can enjoy together. Season three will continue to deliver laugh-out-loud sitcom fun from a dog’s point of view."
