TV Guide magazine is experiencing a shakeup, with the editor-in-chief among the casualties. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that editor-in-chief Debra Birnbaum is out, along with features director Carol Dittbrenner.

Additionally, a member of the magazine’s public relations team and a marketing staff member were let go in the shakeout, which came down Wednesday.

“The moves come on the heels of last week’s ouster of columnist Will Keck and critic Bruce Fretts," the report notes.

Birnbaum’s position has been cut and won’t be filled, the article adds. She had worked as editor-in-chief since May 2008, after replacing Ian Birch.

The report adds: “The print magazine has struggled in recent years, with more viewers turning to the onscreen guides on their TVs. In 2005, the magazine went through an overhaul and relaunched as a glossy entertainment publication. Its circulation was just over 2 million for the six months ending June 30, 2013, according to the Alliance for Audited Media.”
