Just one day after NBC removed his comedy “The Michael J. Fox Show” from its prime-time lineup, news surfaced that Michael J. Fox is headed back to the CBS drama “The Good Wife,” TVLine reports.
Fox’s potential return as Louis Canning was rumored last month, during the Television Critics Association winter press tour, the piece notes. At the time, “The Good Wife” co-creator Robert King said he was trying to make a return possible for Fox, noting that the actor had just finished taping the comedy.
In “The Good Wife,” which will return March 9, Canning is the legal nemesis for Alicia Florrick, played by Julianna Margulies.
