One of the stars of a huge hit sitcom that airs on another network will host NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” when it returns March 1. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that Jim Parsons of the CBS hit “The Big Bang Theory” will do the honors.
Beck, who has an album coming out Feb. 25, will be the musical guest for that night.
The show’s return will be notable for the absence of Seth Meyers, the longtime “Weekend Update” co-anchor, who left the show earlier this month. Meyers will debut as the host of NBC’s “Late Night” Feb. 24.
