An actress who had one of the lead roles on an upcoming CBS sitcom is off the show following a table read. Deadline.com reports that Krysta Rodriguez has exited “How I Met Your Dad."

The production is a spinoff of the network’s long-running hit “How I Met Your Mother" with a female point of view, as seen through the eyes of Sally, played by Greta Gerwig. Rodriguez had been slated to play Juliet, Sally’s best friend and the owner of a successful fashion blog.

“The character has undergone changes after the table read,” the piece notes.

Rodriguez, a singer as well as an actress, is known for playing Wednesday in the Broadway musical "The Addams Family" and was a regular on season two of NBC’s "Smash," playing Ana.
