Golden Globe Winner Joins CBS Stalker Drama

A veteran of TV drama series who is a Golden Globe winner and a Primetime Emmy nominee has signed on with a new CBS stalker drama project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dylan McDermott is joining the cast of the untitled pilot from Kevin Williamson.

McDermott, a Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee for "The Practice," will play Det. Jack Larsen, who transferred to the Threat Assessment Unit of the Los Angeles Police Department from New York, and is slated to handle stalking incidents.

Williamson, of “The Following,” will write the script and executive produce, while Liz Friedlander is directing the pilot. McDermott recently starred in “Hostages,” which was canceled by CBS after one season. He’s also known for his work on the first two seasons of "American Horror Story."
