An upcoming rock ‘n’ roll drama project that already has an A-list lineup behind the cameras is also putting together an impressive on-camera roster.

Writing on Deadline.com, Nellie Andreeva reports that “House” star Olivia Wilde has joined the untitled project from Martin Scorsese, Terence Winter and Mick Jagger.

“HBO is building a killer cast,” Andreeva notes. The project has been in the works at the pay-cable network since 2010.

Wilde will co-star opposite Bobby Cannavale in the project, which hasn’t received a formal green light but is slated to start production this summer. Scorsese will direct, “just as he did with the pilot for ‘Boardwalk Empire,’” the piece notes.

The untitled drama is set in 1970s New York and examines the drug-and-sex scenes of the music business through the eyes of a record executive played by Cannavale. Wilde will play his character’s wife, a former actress and model who was a bohemian in 1960s New York.

Wilde will be returning to series TV with the role, after focusing on films — including "Rush" and "Her" — since leaving “House,” the piece notes.
