Nick at Nite is calling it a wrap for its first original comedy series. Deadline.com reports that the channel will pull the plug on the Scott Baio vehicle “See Dad Run” after season three.
The comedy is currently filming its third season, and will wrap up in May. The program has five episodes still to air in its 20-episode second season, with the third season slated to bow later in 2014.
The show stars Baio as an actor who decides to become a stay-at-home dad so that his wife can focus on her career as a soap opera actress. With its cancellation, Nick at Nite has only one remaining original comedy series left, “Wendell & Vinnie,” the piece notes.
