A new Fox News Channel program is off to a strong start in the ratings. The Los Angeles Times’ Company Town reports that “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo" was watched by an average of 1.08 million viewers in its debut Sunday — more than the combined total audience for CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” and MSNBC’s “Melissa Harris-Perry.”

Bartiromo's program, which airs at 10 a.m. ET, was up 19% in the key news demo of viewers 25-54 from Fox News’ ratings in the time slot so far this year, the story notes.

“Bartiromo's coverage focused largely on the sign-up deadline for the Affordable Care Act, and guests included Cleveland Clinic Chief Executive Toby Cosgrove, former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers and drug company Merck's chief executive, Kenneth Frazier,” the report adds.
