Legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon and his wife, singer Edie Brickell, have been arrested, USA Today reports. Simon, 72, and Brickell, 48, were reportedly arrested Saturday in New Canaan, Conn., on charges of disorderly conduct.
The report cites a New Canaan police spokeswoman saying the arrest stemmed from an incident Saturday, with arraignment set for this afternoon in Norwalk Superior Court.
"The New Canaan Advertiser reports that police say the two, who were married in 1992, were arrested after an apparent domestic dispute," USA Today reports. "A call to police about the incident at the couple's New Canaan house was made about 8 p.m. Saturday night, police said. But details were not immediately released. Simon's rep did not immediately respond to a USA Today request for comment."
