One of the stars of NBC's recently canceled “Community” has been cast in HBO’s “Girls.” TVLine.com reports that the HBO comedy series is adding Gillian Jacobs in a recurring role during season four.

Jacobs, who played Britta Perry on “Community,” will portray a character named Mimi-Rose Howard starting in the season's fifth episode, which is also called “Mimi-Rose.”

The fourth season of the show will premiere in early 2015.
