The CW has decided there's no tomorrow for three series. The Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker reports that the broadcast network is pulling the plug on “The Tomorrow People,” “Star-Crossed” and “The Carrie Diaries."
“The Tomorrow People” was an updated version of a 1960s sci-fi drama, featuring a group of people with special powers as they fought for survival. The show averaged 1.5 million total viewers and a 0.6 rating in 18-49.
“Star-Crossed” was a romance about aliens trying to fit into human society, but it “whimpered” with a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic, the story notes.
“The Carrie Diaries,” a prequel to HBO's wildly successful "Sex and the City," “didn't quite make the fashionable entrance CW might have liked,” the article adds.
