Pop singer Justin Bieber is set for a guest appearance on a TV competition show. TheWrap.com reports that Bieber, who has been in the headlines lately mainly for a series of scrapes with the lawy, will appear on the Fox dancing competition “So You Think You Can Dance."
Bieber will introduce dance groups that are competing for a spot in the show’s finale, beginning with the May 28 season premiere. He will introduce two dance crews on each of the show’s four audition episodes, the story says.
“The singer will also help unleash a new, Twitter-centric element to the series; after the dance crews are showcased, viewers can vote for their favorite of the two crews using Twitter hashtags. Whichever crews accumulate the most tweets will be invited to perform on the season finale,” the story reports.
The report adds that Bieber is a “social media phenomenon” with almost 52 million Twitter followers.
