Actress Kristen Bell will return as host of an awards show for the third year in a row. TheWrap.com reports that Bell will again host the “CMT Music Awards,” although she won’t have a co-host for this year’s ceremony.
For the previous two shows, she had a co-host, being joined by Toby Keith in 2012 and Jason Aldean in 2013. For the 2014 show, which takes place on June 4, the “Frozen” star will host solo, the story reports.
“After two years of duets with amazing partners, I'm really excited for my first solo effort,” Bell said in a statement. “I love that the country community has welcomed me so warmly and I can't wait to head back to Nashville for what's sure to be another amazing show this year.”
The awards ceremony, which will air on CMT, will include performances from Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood, among others.
