Rapper Sean Combs said his Revolt TV was “used as a pawn” in the auction for Fuse, with owner MSG using his company to bid up the price. Deadline.com reports that Combs made the comments during a panel at The Cable Show.

Jennifer Lopez’ NuvoTV agreed to buy Fuse last month, after Combs' $200 million bid in March reportedly fell short, the story notes.

“It’s cool. That’s the way business works,” Combs said.

He added that he’s optimistic about Revolt, with a goal to make it “the No. 1 brand in music worldwide.” He said Revolt could be available on more than 1 billion devices in five years, as young consumers jump onto new technologies.
