Fox Wins Monday as ‘MasterChef’ Rises

Fox came out on top in Monday night's prime-time ratings among the broadcast networks, based on Nielsen overnights for the key 18-49 demo.

TVbytheNumbers.com reports that "MasterChef" led the way for Fox, climbing two-tenths of a point from last week in viewers 18-49 to record a 1.8 average. "24: Live Another Day" slipped one-tenth to a 1.5.

Second-place ABC saw its two-hour "The Bachelorette" fall two-tenths from its previous original to notch a 1.6 average in 18-49, while "Mistresses" equaled its 0.9 from a week ago.

NBC's two-hour "American Ninja Warrior" fell to a season low, losing three-tenths of a point off last week's number to settle for a 1.6 average in the 18-49 demo.

CBS aired mostly repeats, with its one fresh program, "48 Hours," ticking down one-tenth from last week to a 0.8 average in 18-49.

For prime time overall, Fox led the way in adults 18-49 with a 1.6 average, ahead of ABC (1.4 average), NBC (1.3) and CBS and Univision (both 1.1). Fox also won total viewers, averaging 5.4 million to lead ABC (5.2 million), CBS (4.8 million), NBC (4.1 million) and Univision (2.8 million).
