Viewership for the 2014 NBA Western Conference Finals, carried on TNT, was up a hefty 39% from 2013, Turner announced today.
Coverage of the series averaged 6.8 million viewers, the company said, propelling TNT to the top cable audience on each game night during the series. The San Antonio Spurs beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in six games to advance to the NBA Finals.
The series averaged a 4.2 U.S. HH rating, up 35% from the 2013 series between the Spurs and the Memphis Grizzlies, the company noted.
