BBC America today unveiled the appointment of a key sales executive. The company announced the promotion of Melissa Drucker to Senior Vice President, Television Sales, effective immediately.
“Based in New York, Drucker joined BBC Worldwide North America in 2007 and was a founding member of the U.S. integrated TV and digital ad sales team,” the company said in a release. “Drucker will report to Ann Sarnoff, Chief Operating Officer, BBC Worldwide North America.”
Said Sarnoff: “Melissa played an integral role in leading the BBC America team to achieve consistent double-digit revenue growth year-on-year. She brings years of sales experience that will be a vital contribution to the network as we continue to grow.”
Drucker worked previously at The Weather Channel, where she handled both national and direct response ad sales.
